ANDREW LOFTHOUSE, from the Cherry Leaf Ju-Jitsu club at the Siam Camp, Fitton Hill, won the Nai-Khanomton World Belt and gold medal at the championships held in Ayutthaya, Thailand.
The Youth Bank of Oldham helped finance the trip to this prestigious event for Andrew - and he didn’t disappoint. Nor did other members of the club who attended the WMF World Championships in Burgas, Bulgaria.
Dale Tunnacliffe won a gold medal and there were silvers for Bradley Tunnacliffe and Jack Nolan. Danny Corrigah went out in the quarter-finals.
