Roses wash-out

LANCASHIRE over-50s cricketers are hoping to rearrange their Northern Counties Championship game against Yorkshire after their Roses clash at Elland was abandoned.
Lancashire had made 174 for five from 43 of their 45 overs when play was halted by rain, Mike Ingham and John Punchard both scoring half centuries.
The over-50s are in action on Wednesday when they play Derbyshire at Atherton (1.30pm).
