Hand and Murphy rejoin Phoenix squad

Manchester Phoenix player-coach Tony Hand and netminder Stephen Murphy will return in Sunday’s match-up with Belfast Giants.

The duo have been on Team GB’s ill-fated Olympic pre-qualifying tournament in Poland and had to sit out their team-mates’ double Elite Ice Hockey League defeat to Sheffield last weekend.

Now both are raring to go as Phoenix bid to topple one of their rivals for a top-our spot. Face off on Sunday is 5.30pm.
