Hedman rejects move to City

FORMER Swedish international goalkeeper Marcus Hedman has rejected the chance to join Manchester City, who have been given permission to sign a keeper on loan following injuries to first-choice Joe Hart and No 3 Richard Martin, writes TONY BUGBY.
Kasper Schmeichel will keep goal tomorrow against Arsenal with 18-year-old Tobias Johansen on the bench.
City are reported to have disciplined Dietmar Hamann and Michael Ball after it was alleged they refused to warm up at Hull City on Sunday when they were substitutes.
The pair were ordered to play for the reserves against Bolton on Tuesday when the team also included Brazilian international Jo, who was recently fined for visiting a nightclub when he was supposedly ill.
WES BROWN has had surgery on an ankle problem and is likely to be on the sidelines until the New Year.
The injury to Brown, who had been regular right-back, will open the door for Gary Neville to reclaim his Manchester United place after a lengthy lay-off.
Striker Dimitar Berbatov will miss tomorrow’s match at Aston Villa with the hamstring strain he picked up playing for Bulgaria in midweek. He could also be ruled out of Tuesday’s Champions League game at Villarreal and the Manchester derby on Sunday week.
