Spirits squashed

TAME Valley’s second team were the only winners for the Greenfield club in the latest round of fixtures in the JJB Sports North West Counties Squash League.
They defeated Crowood first team 3-2 in division four east thanks to the efforts of Herbie Roebuck, Gary Burton and Wayne Smith.
The first team crashed to a 4-1 defeat against a strong City of Manchester second team, Amir Manachouri being their lone winner.
The thirds suffered the same fate, Richard Green recording their lone success against City of Manchester thirds.
