HAYDOCK Park and the Oldham Chronicle have teamed up to provide racing fans with two helpings of festive cheer.

Chronicle readers who log on to www.haydock-park.co.uk can buy tickets for the next two Haydock meetings at half the normal price.

The next two Haydock racedays are this Saturday, December 20, and Tuesday, December 30.

Half-price tickets for Saturday can be booked by entering the promotion code HAYHP201208. The offer ends on Friday at 4pm.

The code for Tuesday, December 30 is HAYHP301208 and the deadline to secure tickets for this meeting is 4pm on Monday, December 29.

Half-price tickets for the Newton, Tattersalls and County Enclosures are only available when they are booked online.

To order your tickets, go to www.haydock-park.co.uk home page, click on Racing, then Racedays, followed by Tickets and Buy Tickets. Then click on “book here”, scroll to the day you wish to book for, enter the relevant promotion code and pay as instructed.

All tickets booked this way must be collected at the racecourse on raceday.

Saturday’s Haydock card features the Joseph Heler Cheese Handicap Hurdle and the Sodexo Prestige Tommy Whittle Handicap Chase.

And Haydock’s traditional meeting before the New Year includes The Last Fling Steeplechase, sponsored by Blackpool Tower and Circus and run over three and a half miles, commemorating one of the most popular horses to race at Haydock Park.

Full admission prices for Saturday’s card, with prices for December 30 in brackets are:

Newton Enclosure, £9 (£7); Tattersalls £17 (£14); County Enclosure £28 (£23).

Entry to the Premier Enclosure costs £43 on Saturday and £34 on December 30.

Accompanied children under 16 enter Haydock Park free of charge.

Pensioners and students, with appropriate identification, enter Tattersalls and the Newton Enclosure at half price.
