Tevez ready to quit Reds

CARLOS Tevez is prepared to quit Manchester United after revealing his frustration at not being offered a new contract.
The Argentine striker, who is in the second of a two-year loan deal, has frequently expressed a desire to stay.
But his frustration at not yet being offered a package beyond this summer surfaced in a radio interview broadcast in his native country.
Tevez denied claims he has rejected an offer from United and says he is prepared to move to any club willing to offer him the security of a five-year contract.
United have always maintained they will turn the loan into a permanent £32million move, but appear reluctant to do so before the summer.
CITY, meanwhile, are understood to have made a £24m bid for Barcelona midfield player Yaya Toure and are also keen on his older brother Kolo, the Arsenal defender.
Manager Mark Hughes is reported to be ready to sell injury-plagued midfield player Michael Johnson, with Everton and West Ham leading the chase.
MATCHES off tonight: Oldham Town v Curzon Ashton, Maine Road v Mossley.
