MANCHESTER Phoenix were taught a lesson in clinical finishing as they were hit for eight by a rampant Belfast Giants last night.
Tied two-apiece after two periods, the Giants went on a scoring spree to hand Phoenix their fourth defeat in a row.
A Luke Fulghum double fired Manchester into a 2-1 lead late in the second period.
On Friday, Sheffield kicked off a miserable weekend for Phoenix with a 5-3 win at home.
