Manchester Phoenix landed their tenth win in 14 games with a well-earned 5-2 win over Basingstoke last night.
Man-of-the-match Lucas Burnett was the hero, grabbing a brace, to hand the Bison their 21st loss in a row.
Alex Dunn, Brett Clouthier and Luke Fulghum also netted to leave Phoenix in sixth in the Elite League - two points behind Cardiff with two games in hand.
They continue to play fixture catch-up tomorrow, when they take on Edinburgh at home (7:15pm).
