Northern Thunder finished their Superleague season with a convincing 52-35 win over Glasgow Wildcats, resulting in a seventh-place finish - a massive improvement on last season when they finished bottom.
Thunder shooters Rachel Bramhall and Karen Greig combined well to score 17 goals between as they established sufficient control to allow the coaches to try different combinations of players - among them 18 year-old-Rachael Taylor who has impressed at wing attack for National League side Oldham.
