MANCHESTER United have avoided the big guns in their quest to retain the Champions League trophy.
Alex Ferguson's team, chasing an unprecedented five trophies in one season, have been drawn at home to FC Porto in the first leg of the quarter finals.
If they come through this they will meet the winners of the Villarreal v Arsenal tie in the semis.
In the daunting other side of the draw Liverpool and Chelsea will again lock horns with the winners facing either Barcelona or Bayern Munich.
The quarter final first legs take place on April 7-8 with the return legs a week later.
The final is in Rome in May.
In the UEFA Cup quarter final draw, Manchester City will face Hamburg with the second leg at Eastlands.
The other ties are: Paris St German v Dynamo Kiev; Shaktar Donetsk v Marseille and Werder Bremen v Udinese.
These ties are to be played on April 9 and 16.
If City progressed they would play either Werder Bremen or Udinese in the semi finals (April 30 and May 7)
