Former Belle Vue star Jason Crump opens his campaign to add to his two World speedway titles when the new Grand Prix season starts in Prague this Saturday.
Crump, who quit the Elite League this year to concentrate on the GPs has said he is determined to win the title this year but he will face tough competition from reigning champion Nicki Pedersen.
The 11-race series comes to Cardiff for the British Grand Prix on June 27.
Current Belle Vue number one Krzysztof Kasprzak made progress in his bid to qualify for the 2010 GP series with a solid fourth place in the Polish qualifying round and his next test will be the semi-final on May 2.
Kasprzak recorded his first Aces’ maximum in Belle Vue’s 53-40 home win over Ipswich in the Knockout Cup. The next home fixture sees the Aces play host to last season’s champions Poole Pirates on Monday.
