MANCHESTER United winger Nani has vowed to stay and fight for his place in the team despite his frustration at being substituted during Saturday's victory over Tottenham.
The Portuguese was taken off at half–time with United trailing 2–0 and watched his team–mates stage a stirring comeback for a 5–2 win at Old Trafford.
Nani, who has been substituted on each of the six times he has started a Premier League game for United this season, said: "I was not satisfied about my role against Tottenham but I accept the orders of the coach by the substitution at half–time.
"The team changed in many ways during the second half but I wasn't responsible for the first 45 minutes. I finished the match unhappy though I am still waiting to demonstrate what I can do.
"I have signed a deal with this club and my dream is to obtain a permanent place in the 11."
