Aces slip to home defeat
Date published: 07 July 2009
A disastrous second half to the meeting for Belle Vue, in which they lost six of the last eight heats, saw the Aces slip to a 50-40 home defeat 40-50 against high flying Swindon last night.
Leigh Adams (12) put his poor Grand Prix form behind him, with strong support from Matej Zagar (12) to give Swindon victory.
For Aces, it was a familiar story with Kris Kasprzak (11) unable to find any consistent support and another injury worry with Stockport-based James Wright taken to hospital with a suspected broken foot.
