MANCHESTER Phoenix youngster Robert Lachowicz has been turning heads at an ice hockey camp in Canada.
Invited by ex-NHL star and now Nottingham Panthers’ coach Corey Neilson, the 19-year-old is honing his skills ready for the new English Premier League season.
“It’s a terrific camp, we’re training both on and off the ice as well as having some fun too,” said Lachowicz. “By the time I get to Manchester, I’ll be ready to get straight into on-ice training, and I can’t wait to get going.”
Robert, who signed for Phoenix from the Panthers, joined eight other players from ‘Lace City’ as part of their on-going development programme.
