SHINNY Bayaar, the Oldham-based Mongolian boxer, is ready for the biggest fight of his life.
The ‘Mighty Atom’ boxes for the British flyweight title at Bolton Arena on Friday night.
Standing in the way of Bayaar, who boxes out of Jack Doughty’s Shaw-based Tara stable, is champion Chris Edwards, from Stoke-on-Trent.
Doughty, who trains Bayaar along with Gary Ford, describes his boxer as being in tremendous shape.
It has been a lengthy road to his title tilt for Bayaar, who only became eligible when he was granted British citizenship.
Bayaar, who works as a fitness instructor in Sale, will be on the undercard at Bolton Arena where the European light-middleweight title shot between Jamie Moore and Ryan Moore tops the bill.
