Key match for Phoenix

ICE HOCKEY: Manchester Phoenix could have one hand on the English Premier League title if they overturn Milton Keynes Lightning at home this weekend.
Tony Hand’s side are top of the table by four points from their weekend opponents and a win would see them build up a daunting lead at such an early stage in the season.
They travel to bottom of the table Romford tomorrow and, providing they remain professional, should beat a side that has conceded 103 goals in 17 games so far.
Sunday’s home clash should be a real cracker as Phoenix look to avenge a 3-2 loss to the Milton Keynes Lightning at the end of September and stretch their lead further.
