Four-star Phoenix
Date published: 26 November 2009
ICE HOCKEY: FOUR Manchester Phoenix stars have been selected for the Great Britain under-20s team.
Defencemen Joe Graham and James Neil, along with team-mates Iain Bowie and Robert Lachowicz, will travel to Hungary in December for the World Championships.
GB will play China on December 13 before facing Korea, Spain, Mexico and then the hosts on December 19.
The quartet will miss four Phoenix games during that period and player-coach Tony Hand plans to call up players from the Trafford Metros to cover the absences.
