SPORTS Personality of the Year Ryan Giggs has signed a one–year contract extension with Manchester United.
The deal rewards the 36-year-old for a superb last 18 months.
With 11 Premier League titles and two European Cups already forming part of a staggering collection of trophies, Giggs has secured a place in the history books during a career in which he has amassed more than 820 appearances for his only professional club.
But the former Wales skipper has no intention of resting on his laurels just yet.
“I am enjoying my football more than ever and I am looking forward to hopefully winning more trophies with Manchester United.”
