Flamini in City loan link
Date published: 19 January 2010
AC MILAN’s Mathieu Flamini is on the verge of a loan move to Manchester City until the end of the season, according to reports today.
Blues boss Roberto Mancini is to raid Italy for a second time since taking over at Eastlands after bringing in Patrick Vieira from Inter Milan earlier this month.
Flamini, who usually operates as a defensive central midfielder, has played his best football at Milan at right back having been switched there in the second half of last season due to a spate of injuries at the San Siro.
But Flamini, who made more than 100 appearances for Arsenal between 2004-2008, has fallen down the pecking order at Milan this term.
