Hand points the finger

ICE HOCKEY: MANCHESTER Phoenix player-coach Tony Hand is looking for a significant improvement in his team’s fortunes.
Phoenix have won only four of their last 11 matches and are shipping goals.
The 9-2 and 8-7 reverses to Guildford last weekend have seen them slip to fourth in the English Premier League‚ six points behind leaders Milton Keynes.
Said Hand: “Too many players are below par and we simply cannot afford that.”
Phoenix face Milton Keynes Lightning tomorrow (7pm) before Swindon visit the Ice Dome on Sunday (5.30pm).
