ICE HOCKEY:
TONY Hand once again proved to be Manchester Phoenix's saviour as he popped up late to seal a 5-4 win at Bracknell last night.
With just 10 minutes to go, the 41-year-old player-coach fired his 19th goal of the season to give his side two vital English Premier League points.
On Saturday, Phoenix's title hopes took a massive dent as they lost 6-4 at rivals Guildford.
Last season's EPL Grand Slam winners Peterborough Phantoms have fired head coach Doug Irwin.
The champions lie in sixth place, 22 points off the pace.
