Park’s treble chance

Ji–sung Park has set his sights on completing a hat–trick of trophies with Manchester United this season.

After helping the Red Devils retain the Carling Cup by beating Aston Villa at Wembley on Sunday, Park will focus on the Barclays Premier League before United attempt to complete their Champions League demolition job on AC Milan at Old Trafford on Wednesday.

Fresh impetus was injected into United's domestic campaign last weekend, with Manchester City's win at Chelsea meaning United will reclaim top spot if they beat Wolves at Molineux tomorrow.

"We could win the Premier League and the Champions League. We are thinking about that," said Park.

"I feel confident. We will try to win all our matches and see where we end up."

With a number of his senior players – including Edwin van der Sar and Paul Scholes – no longer required for internationals, United boss Sir Alex Ferguson's team selection at Wolves will be interesting.

After being left on the bench for the start of last weekend's encounter before winning the trophy with his second–half header, Wayne Rooney is expected to be recalled.

However, with the meeting against Milan so close, Ferguson will want to ensure the knee injury that caused a scare after the Villa game is fully healed.
