MANCHESTER Phoenix ended a run of six defeats with morale-boosting victories over Romford Raiders and Peterborough Phantoms.
Adam Walker scored a hat-trick in a 10-2 romp at the Raiders before repeating the feat a day later at home to the Phantoms.
Last night's 6-4 win over last season's Grand Slam champions, in which Walker reached 40 goals for the season, was important as Phoenix jostle for a play-off place.
