ICE HOCKEY:
Ed Courtenay has left Manchester Phoenix to take up a position at Pepsi-Cola.
The 42-year-old former San Jose Shark has been missing from the line- up for the past three weeks as he was back home attending an interview in South Carolina.
Phoenix had to readjust their forward lines to cope with the loss of the experienced 45-goal star.
Meanwhile, player-coach Tony Hand has confirmed that back-up netminder Adam Summerfield will return next season.
