ICE HOCKEY:
MANCHESTER Phoenix coach Tony Hand declared himself pleased with his side’s third place finish in the English Premier League.
He said his young side lived up to the tough challenge set by the league.
Hand said: “If we’d been offered a third place finish in September, I think we’d have taken that.”
Phoenix take on Peterborough this weekend in their play-off quarter-final.
