Belle Vue back on track

With the season-opener against Coventry postponed because of a waterlogged track, Belle Vue made up for lost time with a 47-43 victory over league champions Wolverhampton.

Newcomers Peter Karlsson (10+1) and Leigh Lanham (9+3) made impressive debuts, with strong support from Stockport’s James Wright (10) and Dane Patrick Hougaard (8).
