Wood is player of the year

ICE HOCKEY: Greg Wood has been named Manchester Phoenix' Player of the Year. The 23-year-old took home the accolade after a solid season on the club's second line where we posted 43 points in 56 games.
Defenceman of the Year was Luke Boothroyd while Adam Walker was named Forward of the Year.
Finn Jaakko Hagelberg won three awards - Utility Player, Fans Favourite and Supporters Club Player of the Year, while Ben Wood won player-coach Tony Hand's player of the year.
