IT is vital Manchester United win their remaining games if they are to see off Chelsea in the race for the Barclays Premier League title.

There is confidence following the dramatic derby victory against Manchester City, according to the Scotland midfielder.

United face Tottenham tomorrow at Old Trafford — their opponents have never won in the Premier League era at the ground — with matches against Sunderland (away) and Stoke (home) to follow.

United will go back to the top if they beat Spurs as Carlo Ancelotti’s side are not in action until the following day against Stoke City.

Wayne Rooney is likely to be involved even though the England striker has not completed a full 90 minutes in the last three games as he struggles to shake off an ankle injury.

Rio Ferdinand could return after a groin problem forced him to miss the derby while Wes Brown might also come into contention after recovering from a broken metatarsal.
