Belle Vue Aces clung on to second place in the league despite slumping to their third defeat of the Bank Holiday weekend.
They lost 59-36 at Poole — only Peter Karlsson (12) showed any form, with Hans Anderson failing to score in his first two rides — after going down 54-40 at Lakeside, and
55-41 away to Eastbourne.
