Bayaar in title defence

BOXING: TRAINER Jack Doughty reckons Shinny Bayaar’s experience could make the difference when he defends his British flyweight title in Dagenham tonight.
The 32-year-old, born in Mongolia but now a citizen of this country, takes on exciting prospect Ashley Sexton.
Bayaar, who lives in Sale and boasts 15 wins, four defeats and a draw from 20 bouts, beat Chris Edwards to be crowned British champion in October.
Doughty, from the Tara stable in Shaw, said: “Shinny’s up against it, but I still expect him to win.
“He’s a determined man who has experience on his side and won’t let go of the title easily.
“Although his opponent is 10 years his junior, Shinny is a fitness instructor so is in terrific shape.”
Sexton (22), from Cheshunt in Hertfordshire, is looking to build on a perfect record of nine wins out of nine.
He made a huge impression in his last contest. Fighting for the vacant English flyweight title, he knocked out Usman Ahmed inside the opening round.
