ICE HOCKEY: JAMES Neil has become the latest Manchester Phoenix player to sign a one-year contract with the club.

The versatile 20-year-old GB International opted to put pen to paper after impressing in both defence and attack last season.

He scored 24 goals and added 11 assists in 54 games for the club and proved a potent weapon on the Phoenix powerplay.

Neil said: “I loved it here last season and I had no doubt about accepting the offer.”
