Roses clash ends in a draw

CRICKET:
LANCASHIRE had to settle for eight points and Yorkshire five after the Roses clash at Headingley ended in a draw.
No play was possible on the fourth and final day of the LV= County Championship division one match because of rain.
Yorkshire were on their overnight score of 199 for eight, in reply to Lancashire’s first innings total of 416 for nine declared.
