ENGLAND’S cricketers are a best-priced 4-7 to win their one-day series against Australia following their victory at the Rose Bowl last night.

ROGER Federer survived a first-round scare at Wimbledon on Monday, but is still the 7-4 favourite to retain his crown.

French Open champion Rafael Nadal is second favourite at 11-5, followed by Britain’s Andy Murray, who won in straight sets yesterday, at 8-1.

Andy Roddick, last year’s runner-up, is a 12-1 chance.

OLDHAM RL are enjoying a fabulous season and Skybet make them 15-8 favourites to win Co-Operative Championship One.

Hunslet look overpriced at 3-1, but the opposite is true of Blackpool at the same odds.

ENGLAND’S soccer players were facing the point of no return today, but the bookies reckoned they were likely to go through at the expense of Slovenia.

The Three Lions were 1-2 favourites, with the draw at 100-30 and Slovenia 7-1.
