ENGLAND were rated as the 13th best team by FIFA in the World Cup which saw them knocked out by Germany in the last 16.
That is two places worse than their previous lowest mark, in 1958, when, shorn of Duncan Edwards and Tommy Taylor following the Munich air crash, England were ranked 11th.
