DIDIER Drogba’s agent Thierno Seydi, who claims to have had contact with Manchester City about the Chelsea star, has warned there might be “surprises” before the end of the transfer window.
Drogba (32) was the Barclays Premier League’s top scorer with 29 goals last season, which helped Chelsea win back the title.
Seydi admits Drogba is happy at Stamford Bridge and is unlikely to leave but would not rule out the possibility of a move.
“Today he is at Chelsea,” Seydi told French radio station RMC. “There might be surprises before August 31.
“I have not talked to just anybody. The only contact I have had directly was Manchester City.
Drogba has scored 84 league goals for Chelsea since arriving in 2004, in a £24million transfer from Marseille.
The Ivory Coast international only spent a year there but is still revered at the Stade Velodrome and is regularly linked with a return to the Ligue 1 club.
