O’Neill to let Milner go
Date published: 23 July 2010
MARTIN O’Neill has put the ball in Manchester City’s court after admitting James Milner can leave Aston Villa if their valuation of the midfielder is met.
The 24–year–old, who played for England in the World Cup in South Africa, has already been the subject of a rejected bid from City following a brilliant season.
But, after offering a reported £20million in May, the big-spending Blues will have to up their bid to something approaching Villa’s valuation of around £30million if they want to land the former Newcastle and Leeds man.
