SOUTHAMPTON are hot favourites at the bookmakers to finish clear of the pack in npower League One this season.
Alan Pardew’s men suffered from a 10-point deduction last term as a result of entering administration and also had to contend with an indifferent start following relegation.
Once into their stride, though, Saints — now backed financially by Switzerland-based businessman Markus Liebherr — were almost irresistible.
