Alan eyes home glory

GOLF: ALAN Squires, who helped England win the Senior European Team Championship at Fairhaven, was beginning his quest for more honours today.
The Oldham Golf Club member was in the England line-up for the ninth Senior Home Internationals at Crail in Scotland.
Squires won the English Seniors title at Carlisle in June, having previously finished second and third.
He made his debut in the Home Internationals in 2004.
