Heffron claims second victory

BOXING:

MARK Heffron clinched his second victory since turning professional by beating Art Malek at the Urania Hall in Poland.

Welterweight Heffron, the former Northside ABC and Boarshaw club member who now trains at Gallagher’s Gym in Denton, was handed a unanimous decision by the judges.

It comes hot on the heels of his debut win over German Torsten Roof at the Bekkerveld Festival in the Netherlands.
