More shocks in store – Fletcher

MANCHESTER United midfield dynamo Darren Fletcher is predicting more twists and turns in a Premier League season which has already provided its fair share of shocks.
United, who were fortunate to escape from last Saturday’s match at Aston Villa with a 2-2 draw, entertain Wigan tomorrow.
And nothing less than victory will suffice even though United remain unbeaten, unlike main title rivals Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City, who have already been defeated three times this season.
United have drawn more matches than they have won and Fletcher believes that the gap between the top teams and the rest is beginning to close.
"The Premier League is tough," said the Scotland skipper. "We experienced it last year. The standard has risen because the other teams are getting better.
"The battle for the top four used to be a given. Now there are a lot more teams involved.”
United boss Sir Alex Ferguson could recall Wayne Rooney after the striker's recent trip to the United States to work on his conditioning.
