SNOW forced the abandonment of today's all–weather meeting at Lingfield.
All–weather tracks have been keeping the racing industry going during the big freeze, but one thing that groundstaff cannot beat is substantial snowfall.
Tomorrow’s National Hunt fixture at Exeter and Saturday's jumps cards at Wetherby and Chepstow have also fallen by the wayside due to a combination of snow and frost.
Tomorrow’s meeting at Sandown was abandoned this morning and officials were due to inspect this afternoon with regard to Saturday’s Tingle Creek Chase card.
Musselburgh’s meeting on Monday became the latest victim this morning.
