Brazilian midfielder Anderson has extended his Manchester United contract until June, 2015.
The former Porto player has penned a four–and–a–half–year extension, having returned from long–term injury problems this season.
Anderson said: "This is the best club to be at and I would like to thank everyone for the great support I have received.”
Anderson took time to settle in Manchester, having joined from Porto in 2007, where he was the Portuguese side's key player despite still being in his teens.
Since then he has produced more consistent performances this season and has been rewarded with the new deal.
