Taylor retains Masters title

SQUASH: OLDHAM-born Nick Taylor roared to victory in the British National Squash Championships Masters event, in the men’s over-35 category.
Taylor (39) saw off Kent’s Christian Donelan 11-4 11-6 11-6 in the quarter-finals, before defeating Jamie Goodrich, of Norfolk, 11-9 11-6 11-4 in the last four.
And he retained the title with an 11-4 11-6 11-6 triumph at the expense of Merseyside’s Stephen Siveter.
Former world number 14 Taylor, now the Jersey national coach, lifted the trophy for the third time in four years at the National Squash Centre, SportCity.
