Heino call-up
Date published: 29 March 2011
CRICKET: FORMER Oldham and Werneth cricketer Heino Kuhn has been selected for the South Africa ‘A’ squads to take on Bangladesh at home next month.
There will be two four-day matches in the first half of the month and these will be followed by five one-day internationals.
Kuhn, a wicketkeeper batsman who has played in the full South Africa Twenty20 team, was Oldham’s overseas amateur in the Central Lancashire League in 2004.
He became professional at Werneth the following season and his subsequent efforts in his home land have earned him selection at a higher level.
