ROYTON professional Luke Procter followed up his Lancashire career best 89 with a vital knock of 46 on day one of the LV= County Championship match with Warwickshire.
Procter and Gareth Cross (44) compiled a partnership of 90 in 23 overs after the Red Rose county were reduced to 129 for five.
Lancs were eventually bowled out for 227, while Warwickshire will resume on 39 for one.
