Thunder set for must-win game

NETBALL: NORTHERN Thunder face a make-or-break showdown with Surrey Storm at Oldham Sports Centre on Friday (7.30pm).

Hertfordshire Mavericks defeated Thunder 55-44 to progress straight to the FIAT Superleague Grand Final and bag home advantage for the clash on Thursday, June 9.

Thunder will join Mavericks at the Hertfordshire Sports Village if they overcome Storm, who got the better of Team Bath in the first play-off game.
