City consider bid for Clichy

MANCHESTER City are reportedly preparing a bid for Arsenal left-back Gael Clichy.

The Frenchman has one year left on his contract and is stalling over talks with the Gunners.

Clichy’s team-mate and countryman Samir Nasri has also been linked with a move to the North-West, with City and rivals United thought to be keen on snapping up the playmaker.

Nasri also has just 12 months remaining on his present deal at the Emirates and has also been courted by Barcelona.
