Aguero eyes trophy haul

Manchester City's new record signing Sergio Aguero believes the club will be contenders for major honours in the near future.
The Argentina international completed his £35million transfer from Atletico Madrid yesterday with a five–year deal, and immediately set his sights on bringing more silverware to the Etihad Stadium.
Roberto Mancini's side ended the club's 35–year wait for a trophy by lifting the FA Cup in May, while a third–placed, top–flight finish put them into the Champions League for the first time.
Aguero, winner of the 2010 Europa League with Atletico, believes the club are heading in only one direction.
"I saw the FA Cup final and I think we are a team that in the future will be fighting every year to win major trophies," said the 23–year–old. “Let's hope that it's quite a few major trophies."
Aguero is manager Mancini's third signing of the summer, following the arrivals of Arsenal defender Gael Clichy and Partizan Belgrade's Stefan Savic, and takes the Italian's spending in this window to £48million.
