City gather momentum

Manchester City's pre–season preparations continued in fine style as they beat Inter Milan 3–0 to win the Dublin Super Cup.
Mario Balotelli, Edin Dzeko and Adam Johnson got the goals as City lifted the trophy.
David Silva and Dzeko both had goals disallowed for offside, with Balotelli the guilty party on the former occasion, before the Italian striker opened the scoring against his former club.
Balotelli had a shot tipped over by Julio Cesar and, after playfully kicking the goalkeeper on the backside, refocused to head in the resulting corner.
Dzeko finished neatly after being superbly played in by Silva and Shaun Wright–Phillips set up a late third for Johnson.
